‘Fabulous precision and near-perfect synchronisation between the two artists’ Exeunt

‘Sheema is a “Sitar Prodigy”’  Billboard

“It was an absolute pleasure working with Emily on her sell out performance of Kali, with Sheema Mukherjee, at the British Museum as part of its public programme of events. Her preparation, scholarship and cultural sensitivity of the subject in regards to its living heritage was profoundly impressive.

The performance received a distinctly diverse audience attendance and excellent feedback.
I cannot recommend Emily more highly as a performer who can communicate living culture and mythology in a way that is both compelling, meaningful and sensitive.”
